I kind of freaked out at him?? Because he said that he found my stubbornness cute and I didn't want him to think that I was doing cute things on purpose like someone who only goes to the gym to try and pick up guys or something like that
so I told him I was sorry
and he told me he didn't mean it in a condescending way and that he was super protective of the people he liked and I was one of those people and that he was glad I was taking our lessons seriously
and then from there it kind of spiraled into giving compliments to each other
